Court Appointments: Land & Environment Court 20 March 2013
Dr Jeffrey Kildea has been appointed as an Acting Commissioner of the Land & Environment Court from 20 March 2013 . Dr Kildea has expertise in Aboriginal land rights and Aboriginal Claims.

March 2013: Full Court refuses leave to appeal interlocutory injunction
Cynthia Cochrane (led by Tony Bannon SC) successfully resisted an application for leave to appeal an interlocutory injunction restraining any sale of aripiprazole on the basis that Generic Health had “reason to believe” it would put to a use that infringed Otsuka’s method of treatment patent: s 117(2)(b), Patents Act 1990(Cth). See Generic Health v. Otsuka [2013] FCAFC 17.
